As one of the largest chapters of the nationwide Finlandia Foundation, the Seattle Chapter actively pursues objectives that have been the core of the chapter since its establishment in 1968 by providing Finnish language classes, presenting Finnish movies, organizing a variety of events throughout the year such as the Finnish Independence Day Dinner and Dance, and more!


Grants and Scholarships

The Seattle Chapter of the Finlandia Foundation is making available up to $1,000 in scholarships or grants for projects related to Finland.

Spring Language classes

Beginners’ language classes start on Thursday April 3rd and a Finnish vocabulary class starts on Monday March 31st. See the Language Classes page for more information.

FFSC Annual Meeting

Please join us at the annual meeting on Wednesday April 23rd at 6:30 PM at the Finnish Lutheran Church in Seattle (8504 13th Avenue NW, Seattle) to hear FFSC officer’s reports for the past year, discuss the future of FFSC and elect board members.
