Finnish Films at Nordic Lights Film Festival

January 16th at the NLFF is dedicated to Finnish films in honor of Finland’s centennial celebration. As the closing film NLFF will show The Happiest Day in Olli Mäki’s Life, Finland’s Foreign Language Oscar submission for 2017. A reception will precede the closing film, hosted by Finlandia Foundation Seattle Chapter and UW Finnish Studies. Gold Digger/Onnenonkija director Ville Jankeri will attend his film’s screening as well as the closing reception.
